Common Compulsory Foreign Language (ENGLISH) Courses Exemption Exam

Exam Date : 28.02.2024

Exam Time: 02:00 pm

Exam Room : BLOCK A (Exam rooms will be posted at the door of Block A, 15 minutes before the exam time.)

Deadline for Application : 26.02.2024

Exam Content : : Face-to-face, 50 multiple-choice questions.

Students who will take common compulsory foreign language courses are preferably subjected to the exemption exam for common compulsory foreign language courses held at the beginning of the Spring Semester.

 

• Students who pass this exam with a score of 60 and above are exempt from the Spring Semester compulsory foreign language courses ((ING102 – ING202 – ING104 – ENG102).

 

• Students who are exempted from the exam do not take the course they are exempted from the common compulsory foreign language courses and the course is indicated as Exempted (EX) in their diploma grades and has no effect on the GPA.

 

• The Common Foreign Language Courses Exemption Exam is only valid for the ING- ENG coded course that the student must take in the semester in which the exam is taken.

 

 

The conditions of taking common compulsory foreign language courses;

 

• Students who do not take the exemption exam of the common compulsory Foreign Language courses or who fail the exemption exam; They have to take and pass the common compulsory Foreign Language courses until they graduate.

 

• There is no make-up exam for the exemption exam of the common compulsory Foreign Language Courses.

 

· Students who have not completed the exam application form will NOT be accepted to the exam.

· It is obligatory to come to the exam with an ID card/student ID card. Students without an ID card or student ID card will not be accepted to the exam.

· Since the exam optical form will only be filled in with a pencil, it is the students' own responsibility to bring a pencil.
