 Common compulsory foreign language courses exemption exam

·         Students who will take common compulsory foreign language courses are subject to the Common compulsory foreign language courses exemption exam held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

·         Students who pass this exam with a score of 60 and above are exempt from compulsory foreign language courses (ING202 – ING102 – ENG102 – ING103).

·         Students who are exempt from the exam do not take the course that they are exempt from the common compulsory foreign language courses, and their course diploma grades are indicated as Exempted (EX) and have no effect on their GPA.

·         The Common Foreign Language Courses Exemption Exam is valid only for the ING-ENG Coded course that the student must take during the exam period.

Requirement to take common compulsory foreign language courses

·         Students who do not take the exemption exam for the common compulsory Foreign Language courses or fail the exemption exam; until they graduate, they have to take and succeed in common compulsory Foreign Language courses.

·         There is no make-up exam for the Common Compulsory Foreign Language Course Exemption Exam.
